Why Baby Skin Needs Different Care

Babies and young children have skin that is 20–30% thinner than adult skin. Their skin barrier is still developing, meaning chemicals penetrate more easily and cause more damage. The parabens, SLS, and synthetic fragrances in commercial soaps are particularly concerning for young skin.

What to Look For in Baby-Safe Soap

  • No SLS/SLES — these detergents are too harsh for baby skin and can cause eczema flare-ups
  • No parabens — parabens mimic estrogen and should not contact developing hormonal systems
  • No synthetic fragrance — artificial fragrances are the #1 cause of contact dermatitis in children
  • Aloe vera — naturally soothing and anti-inflammatory
  • Oat milk — proven clinically to calm eczema and reduce skin sensitivity

Glow Glitter for Children

Our Neem Treasure Aloevera Pleasure and Kesar Divine Oatmilk Shine are free from all harsh chemicals and use only natural botanicals. They are suitable for children above 3 years. For infants under 12 months, always consult your paediatrician before introducing any new product, natural or otherwise.

What to Avoid in Children's Soap

Avoid any soap listing sodium lauryl sulfate, methylparaben, propylparaben, DMDM hydantoin, or "fragrance" in its ingredients. These are common in mass-market "baby" soaps despite being inappropriate for developing skin.
